3) TD called after board was played. E/W appealed on behaviour of North who not double 3NT with 9HCP's and pd's minimum 13HCP's (that's his explanation South's 2 's bid, when he was asked by West). Btw, N/S level of playing is Advanced (that is my subjective evaluation).

4) TD decision: result stay, N/S "wroted" in book

5) E/W asking jury

6) TD decision upheld by jury

7) I feel very bad after all this happen. Pls help, my friends.

In the ACBL, a "short club" is supposed to be announced ("could be short"). There was no announcement. After the auction, West East left the table, sought out the director, and asked if she should say anything about the failure to announce. TD said "not until the end of the play". By the time play ended, West East had apparently forgotten this, for she failed to mention it. South discovered in the car on the way home (talking to another EW pair about the hand) that there had been a failure to announce, and contacted the TD, requesting a score adjustment (4 went down 3, and folks at other tables were making 3 and 4 NT). The request is within the correction period for this club, which ends at the beginning of next Wednesday's session. The TD declined to adjust on the grounds that the damage was caused by North's serious error in bidding 3 on, as she put it, "that moth eaten spade suit". I'm inclined to agree, but I wonder what you all think.
