I seem to get all the interesting rulings at my table. Sitting south again; notes:
1. Annouced as "strong"
2. Alerted
3. Asked while the lead was face down "how strong could 2D be?" response "23+", then clarified that they play benji.
Result: 2S+2 NS +170
East meant 2D as a weak two. What are your thoughts on west passing out 2S opposite what is systemically a game force, holding a reasonable 6 count?
Again, I didn't ask for a ruling at the time as it's only a club night. I also decided that the difference between a strong two in diamonds and a 23+ any shape wouldn't have affected my final pass.
